Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

The White Heron Sanctuary is on the top of my list for (re)visiting each time I'm able to return to New Zealand for a holiday.
Not only because the White Herons are magnicifent, especially during their 'courtship', but the whole trip that White Heron Sanctuary Tours offers, is inspiring, from beginning to end. Not only the white herons, but all the other fauna and flora. Paradise on Earth!
My major concern is, that this area remains closely guarded and protected, so the few people that are allowed in the area per day, should in my opinion, never increase.
What I like about Shirley and her team, is that they feel responsible to keep this sanctuary safe - their passion and respect for the area and its inhabitants (being flora or fauna!) is of great added value for the experience.

This November/December I'm returning again, with my husband and some friends, and we are booked on this wonderful trip yet again!
