Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

The place to visit on your New Zealand experience.  A family owned and operated New Zealand business since 1985, Monavale Blueberries is the largest BioGro certified organic blueberry orchard in New Zealand with 50 acres of blueberries.

Enjoy the views over the orchard to the mountains beyond while enjoying morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea inside Cafe Irresistiblue or alfresco dining on the expansive decks.  Cafe Irresistiblue offers an extensive all day menu including organic, free-range, vegetarian and gluten-free meal options, organic hot & cold drinks, blueberry muffins and blueberry pie.  Enjoy a glass of their own organic blueberry wine or other delightful Waikato wines.

Delicious organic blueberry ice-cream and sorbet also available.

Take away some fresh (in season) or frozen organic blueberries or unique organic blueberry products including juice, jam, spread, salad dressing, liqueur and more from a wide selection of retail products - all available from their orchard shop situated at Cafe Irresistiblue.

Enjoy a guided walking orchard tour (October to March) and learn how the orchard began, see how blueberries grow, how they are harvested and packaged, and learn about their organic farming practices.
