Discover a place in a picturesque valley, close to Nelson where you will find a peaceful, private country environment which will refresh and re-vitalise your spirit.

The Last Straw Cottage has been designed to be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay with many modern features and is tastefully furnished to a high standard, but still has the atmosphere and charm of a country cottage.

The cottage has been uniquely built from straw bale construction and has all natural materials and recycled timbers.

Enjoy a long deep soak in the claw foot bath or a glass of wine from one of the local wineries in front of the open fire or alfresco in the courtyard.

Available all year round.

Environment Friendly Action

Built in 2000 using straw bale construction methods, using recycled timbers and natural lime-wash paint system.

Organic Meals

A breakfast hamper of provisions can be supplied by arrangement. Cereals are provided in the cottage with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and milk.

Fully self-contained Holiday Cottage with Kitchen.
There are 3 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a shower and claw-foot bath. The toilet is in a separate rooom.
The main bedroom has 1 queen-sized bed.
The 2nd bedroom has 1 queen-sized bed.
the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds.
There is a cot and highchair available.

No smoking.
Pets outside only please.
