The property is powered by renewable energy – we have a water turbine, solar panels and a solar hot water heater. We would encourage you to live an eco lifestyle for your stay. There is also a composting toilet. We have planted 2000 native trees as well as extensive orchards, coppice and timber trees. Spend an evening relaxing in a firebath under the stars listening to moreporks. There is easy access to the mountain from the property – the Maude track is 7 km down the road, and Egmont Village is 12 km away. New Plymouth is a 20 min drive.
