Harvest Wholefoods is a well established institution at the heart of the Grey Lynn community. Staffed by knowledgeable and friendly people, a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere pervades the store. Harvest offers quality organic certified produce, natural and organic bulk goods, packaged grains and flours, eco-friendly cleaning products, organic grocery items and pet food. Fresh each day there is a selection of organic breads, hot pies, cakes and muffins, sushi and salads. Being a vegetarian super store there is a vast range of specialty products catering for those whose food styles are gluten, sugar and animal free. A well stocked naturopathic department and herbal dispensary is supported by a complimentary naturopathic service. There is a range of books and magazines on health and lifestyle topics too. Harvest prides itself on upholding the highest principles of food integrity. All products on the shelves have been checked to ensure they contain no genetically modified organisms, nor are they chemically treated, contain MSG, conventional eggs or any other questionable ingredients. Harvest supports Fair Trade where possible. Customers are encouraged to bring in their own bags, recycle egg cartons and be conscious about their connection to the wider environment. There is a refill service available for bulk goods such as tamari, honey, olive oil, vinegar & laundry liquid to support this. Harvest is a meeting place for like minded people, as well as providing information on relevant topics and a noticeboard of community events. Each year Fair Trade Fortnight, World Vegetarian Day and World Vegan Day are brought to the customer's awareness.  All customers and enquiries are welcome. Harvest is here to support, promote and provide food for those who care for what they eat. The two other associated stores “Huckleberry Farms are at 6 Campbell Rd, Royal Oak and 151 Apirana Road, Glen Innes. Both stock a range of organic meat and fish. Mail orders are available through the Glenn Innes store.

- So great to have organic shops like this and other huckleberry stores.
With so many chemicals in commercial crop growing, they give us far healthier choices.
And a nice, happy shopping vibe.

Shopping with Harvest for 12 years whenever I’m in NZ and great to see the same familiar faces, they don’t remember me I only get home once a year but I remember them and they’re a great friendly helpful bunch, nice souls! Love harvest!

I used to shop here but found the staff rude and short at times so have taken my business else where

I have been shopping at harvest for 16 years. Quay and trustable products are very important to me.Though it lost a good deal of rawness and home-liness when it was taken over by Huckleberry farms, too many years ago, it is is really an excellent shop with attentive and friendly staff. You can get really good quality products there that are hard to find anywhere else. Their customer thank you program really feels like a thank you. Well, the feeling is mutual. Well done Harvest!

I've been going to Harvest for years now and the staff are always so kind! It's great to do your regular shopping to, providing heaps of healthy options.

Today the staff at Harvest helped me out when I left my wallet at work (having driven 30mins to get to the shop). They offered to let me use their phone which I did to get my credit card details and they processed my sale. This kindness saved me an hours drive and a lot of stress.
