Dream Catchers’ beautiful tents are built on raised decks made from timber milled from trees on the surrounding land. Each tent is set in it’s own secluded clearing in the native bush, giving just the right amount of sun and shade. Surrounded by tea tree, cabbage trees and flax, you can swing gently in your hammock and watch the native birds flit from tree to tree. You will not see another soul. Kingsize beds, pure cotton sheets and fluffy towels provide a real touch of luxury. Your clearing also contains your own kitchen and solar heated shower, all built from recycled and natural materials. A private path from your tent takes you through the trees to the beautiful white sands and turquoise water of Rangiputa Beach.
Dream Catchers can provide the ultimate tranquillity for a truly romantic break. It can also be a dream come true for kids to run around in the bush and on the beach, fishing, kayaking and collecting treasure. Or it could be the ultimate dream for watersports enthusiasts, with direct access to the watersports paradise of Rangiputa Beach.
With 12 acres of natural bush, between our two tent sites, we are able to tailor the experience for each individual group– so whatever they want from their Dream Catchers holiday, we can make the dream come true.
Our watersports paradise
Dream Catchers boutique tented accommodation is located on Rangiputa Beach, a true watersports paradise. You can kitesurf, paddleboard, wakeboard, waterski, kayak, snorkel, dive, sail, fish – whatever takes your fancy.
You will have private access to one of the best kitesurfing spots in the world, with fantastic winds, sandbars and flat flat water. It’s a great place to learn and an amazing spot to kite. You can take lessons in our kitesurfing school or just get out there and enjoy.
Wakeboard or waterski on glassy water. Explore the beautiful harbour by paddleboard or kayak, or dive the reef to see the amazing sponge gardens. Catch snapper from the beach or charter a boat for the day and cook your catch on the barbeque.
Prices for one or two guests are $175 for a one night stay, or $145 per night for stays of two nights or more. Extra tents, beds or portacots can be provided.
