Adventure playground - close proximity to ski fields, trout fishing, hunting, canoeing Whanganui River, mountain bike tracks. Guided hunting, archery, clay birds available. Wildside Lodge provides quality accomodation in a stunning environment. Our self-sufficient eco-lodge is positioned to take advantage of the views offered by both Mount Ruapehu and Mount Taranaki. After a day spent skiing, hunting, mountain biking, or simply relaxing, gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed on the decks while celebrating the enjoyment of the day and firing up the BBQ. The lodge is fully self-contained and comfortably sleeps up to 11 people, with two bathrooms. Other facilities include a large drying room, fireplace, games room with pool table and dart board and entertainment system.


Alternative Energy Demonstration Wildside Lodge is a self-sufficient property, generating its own power using wind and solar. On request we can demonstrate the power system and provide the basic information on getting started with alternative energy.
