“Congratulations on publishing the 2015-16 edition of Organic Explorer.

The book is a terrific collection of New Zealand eco travel experiences ranging from well-known major operators to hidden gems throughout the country.

It’ll be a great travel companion for anyone exploring New Zealand and wanting to hunt out the best eco experiences on offer.

Timber Trail Lodge is a purpose built, 2 / 3+ star accommodation facility at Piropiro, in Pureora Forest Park, in the middle of the North Island, New Zealand, due to open in April 2017.

It provides comfort and relaxation in a beautiful wilderness setting for cyclists and other visitors to Pureora Forest.

The lodge is located adjacent to the mid way point on the Timber Trail, New Zealand's best two day wilderness bike ride.

Passing through rare, native podocarp forest the trail provides a remote wilderness experience that is rich in history. It is already becoming recognised as one of the premier cycle trails in New Zealand.

Guests will enjoy a sense of relaxed informality, and down-to-earth service from attention focused, interested, and interesting staff.

The sense of isolation, and natural beauty will complement the lodge experience. The lodge grounds will be beautifully landscaped, with native planting, quiet, private areas to relax and walk in, and areas to hang out with friends, and other guests.
