Hillside is a family owned and operated boutique hotel nestled on a hillside of the Taupiri Ranges adjoining a 300 acre private native forest conservation reserve in the midst of the 2500 acre Hillside Station a working beef and sheep farm.

Directions

Hillside Hotel is signposted from State Highway One just south of Huntly. Look for the big blue “Hillside Resort” sign . If using GPS then navigate towards the Huntly Placemakers Store (498 Great South Road, Huntly) – the turn is almost opposite (just south) – over the railway line turn right , away from the township. Hillside is 4km from the railway intersection up into the hills. Please note that the private road on Hillside Station is not recognised by GPS navigators. Beware driving directions based on GPS as they often direct past the correct turn. If in doubt please ring us to confirm your driving instructions. Our actual GPS co-ordinates are -37.594852, 175.178375 Google maps satellite view provides the clearest view of the road in.
