Hartley Homestead Boutique Bed and Breakfast is a grand 1900’s mud brick homestead on the banks of the Clutha River set amongst almost an acre of mature gardens and lawns and a few minutes stroll from the historic gold mining township of Clyde and the Otago Central Rail Trail.

Experience a different pace of life whilst relaxing on the verandah with a complimentary glass of wine and cheese platter from the region or in the hot tub overlooking the Pinot Noir vines. At breakfast, taste the difference of homegrown fruits and jams from 80-year-old fruit trees, a legacy left from when the area was an orchard.

There are two beautifully appointed bedrooms with guest lounge in the homestead and a very private super-king bed unit in the grounds.

Melanie Eade, an established artist, paints from her home studio and many of her paintings displayed in the homestead are for sale.
