Forest Mist Bed and Breakfast
Full DescriptionForest Mist is nestled between Kennedy Bay and Waikawau Bay, surrounded by beautiful state forest on the East Coast beyond the Coromandel township. The forest is rich in native bird life ranging from the kiwi, kaka, bell bird, tui, morepork, Kereru. From our deck, you can sit in the spa and enjoy these birds, the sea and bush views. A walkway takes you down to our rocky and bolder strewn shore which is sometimes visited by Orca and dolphins. An excellent place to take your surf-caster. 7 minutes drive north will bring you to Waikawau bay. A DOC park which surrounds the 2.5km long white sandy beach. It is in it's natural state, unspoilt by housing or development. Other local beaches within 10 minutes drive include Tuateawa, Little Bay and Kennedy Bay.
