Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Our home and bed and breakfast cottage contains two units which can be taken separately or opened on to each other to suit a family or friends. Set on 8 Hectares (20 acres) our land is planted in olives, raspberries and vegetables which we supply to local shops and farmers markets and are available for purchase. This rural location is an ideal base to explore Central Otago. We are 7km from the village of Tarras, 20 mins from Cromwell, 35 mins from Wanaka and an hour from Queenstown.

The cottage has superb views over surronding countryside and opens on to a rear garden and BBQ area. The rooms have cooking facilities and we have a small shop providing fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, meats and meal ingrediants.  Breakfasts are provided to your room at a time to suit you.

Nearby are ample opportunities for wine tasting, trekking, cycling, walking, fishing, skiing, gold history discovery, crafts etc.
