Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

‘Outstanding! What a wonderful experience.  This is one of the best experiences we have had in New Zealand'The Burkes

Our tours are different to what most expect. You’ll have the chance to get close to our people and share a spiritual and intimate experience with us.  Our small and private tours are located on the Hakikino Conservation Reserve and allow you to spend time with your guide and get to know one another. Discover our myths and legends and the ways of our people as you explore archaeological remains of Hakikino’s ancient village and reserve, and visit the protected habitat of sacred native eels. You'll come away with insights that are both historical and personal and likely to last a lifetime. Make some new friends, and come and share a spiritual and intimate experience with us.

The Hakikino Conservation Reserve is on a working farm, in the beautiful hills of Waimarama, our coastal village and home.

Kia ora,

I've been to Waimarama and this unique Pa site at Te Hakakino. What I'm trying to associate here is the link to Nelson. Is there a link?? If not then your tourist will not find Te Hakakino in Nelson. Arohamai whanau.
