Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Experience simple but inspiring accommodation that doesn't feel like just another bed and breakfast.

Run by local artist Robyn Lewis, art surrounds you in these architecturally designed studio apartments. Sophisticated yet
funky, with an ethnic twist, you have a choice of two intimate spaces - perfect for couples or close friends.

Choose from two apartments - with their own private entrances and views. Both have modern, open plan designs, complemented by muted natural colours, earthy textiles and carefully chosen ethnic pieces. Luxuriate in the outdoor bath or curl up beside the log-fire with a good book once you've finished exploring Coromandel's historic township. Or if you're not planning on eating out, take advantage of your stylish fully self-contained kitchen.

Indigo is a member of the Coromandel Sustainable Tourism Group. We work to an agreed programme of monitoring and improvement..we minimize waste by buying bulk to reduce packaging,by recycling and by composting. We ensure efficiency by insulation and local source heating such as clean burning woodstoves.
