Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Catlins Horse Riding offers you a personalised horse riding service where you are able to experience horse riding over a variety of riding terrain with farm, forest & beach riding available.

We are located in 'The Catlins' on New Zealand’s South Island overlooking the Pacific Ocean, based on "Te Taunga" a 1630 acre/660 hectare certified organic sheep and beef farm making it a great location for experiencing the coastal Catlins on horseback, with spectacular views over farmland and native forest both inland & overlooking the coast.

Stunning views over several beaches, Owaka and Catlins rivers, Catlins lake, estuary, Pounawea and Owaka. You can enjoy a personalised service, riding in small groups with the opportunity to ride among farm animals, through our native forest full of bird life and along pristine sandy beaches to play in the surf and/or view the sea lions.

Our emphasis is on safety and enjoyment, in an atmosphere of great fun.  We cater for almost anyone - individuals, couples, families, small groups and anyone with an adventurous nature, love of the outdoors, animals and natural beauty of which the Catlins, New Zealand, has plenty to offer.

If you want to go horseriding and experience some of the famous hospitality of the people of New Zealand, this is the place to be! Not commercial and big, but really friendly and personal. And all the horse are relaxed and well taken care off. Cara and Thoraw are the best, still think off the great time I had with them.
