Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Founders Brewery is a family owned and operated NZ Business. We have a local history of brewing, John is a fifth generation brewer and two of our sons are qualified sixth generation brewers. We are all passionate about what we do, and are proud to be carrying on a family tradition.

Our beers are all certified and sold nationally and exported to several countries. We are small (micro) but spread ourselves wide. All of our beers have been awarded many medals and trophies, but the biggest critic is our customer, and the best place to taste our beer is over the counter where it is made.

Tours and Tastings are available.

We also have a cafe with emphasis on Local, Fresh and Organic. All our food is baked and prepared on site. It is a popular destination for families looking for a safe, traffic free, location with a playground. There is plenty of outdoor seating where you can enjoy the ambiance of Founders Park.

Our local Farmers Market also operates every week from Founders Park on Friday afternoons. Summer 3 - 7pm and Winter 3 - 6pm - a great opportunity to taste our local fare and produce.
