Full Description

Award-winning lavender oils produced on the farm.Harvesting and distilling January-March. Small vineyard and olive grove. Display herb garden and large gardens surrounding a creek. Colourful retail shop selling all things lavender. Open most of the time. Organised tours available with morning or afternoon tea. Bed and Breakfast cottage available all year. Wwoofers welcome.

Facilities

Separate cottage with queen-size bed on mezzanine floor. Pull out divan. Sitting room, TV, shower, toilet, kitchenette.

3km from Te Horo, between Waikanae and Otaki. Signposted on SH1 to Lavender Farm. Cross railway line Westerly and follow signs.

visited the farm initially to enquire about the B&B but the owner was very rude (claiming that we didn't reply her greet when we did, think she has hearing problem as i had to speak very loud ). We ended up just taking few pictures in the small not too impressive farm and left to find other accomodation. gald not to stay there as the exterior looked really old.
