Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Come as far North as you can on the South Island’s West Coast and relax for a few days with the Kahurangi National Park on one side and the Tasman Sea on the other. We have wonderful sunsets that light up the mountains called Radiant Range. Our home is a 2min walk to an unspoiled sandy beach, great for walking or jogging and you will have the beach to yourself. We are third generation on the land, with the next generation also involved, milking 420 friesian cows and increasing the pasture area with some interesting land renovation. We are happy to take you for a complimentary tour of the farm. We have 2 friendly farm dogs, a few chickens, horses, 6 elk and Harry the 21 year old seagull who flies in every morning to be fed. We also own the secluded Blueduck Valley, 600 acres total area, 300 acres in Native forest. The valley is 8kms long with a clear stony river running through it surrounded by Rimu and Beech trees. This is where we graze the elk and some of the young stock and harvest the milking cow’s winter feed. The Blueduck Valley was settled by Russell’s Grandfather in the early 1900’s.
