Giverny Gardens is an organic and permaculture designed garden and training centre at Onetangi on Waiheke Island which offers:

  • A garden to visit and learn about organic gardening and permaculture
  • Seasonal produce for sale
  • Resources and tools for sale
  • 1 - 1 Tuition, coaching, advice and garden design
  • Training courses broadly related to sustainable living, gardening, animal husbandry and other topics related to living more lightly and sustainable on the earth
  • An associated business, Stratus Consulting which assists businesses, local govt, government and not for profit organisations to develop increased resilience and be sustainable in their business practices based on the Natural Step framework.

From Kennedy Point car ferry wharf: Donald Bruce Rd, right at roundabout into Causeway Rd, left into Wharf Rd, right into Belgium St, Ostend Rd left into Seaview Rd. Buses: *Catch the 1, 3 or 4 bus to the end of the route at Onetangi from Matiatia, walk up 7th Ave and turn left into Seaview Rd - we are just on the right. *Catch the 1A bus and walk across the road at the end of the route. Accommodation is available within 500m of the property including backpackers, beachfront apartments and holiday houses.
