Welcome to New Zealand at its Best

Organic Explorer has carved out a name for itself as a comprehensive resource for travellers seeking eco-friendly experiences in New Zealand.

Through its website and travel guides, it has provided travellers with an abundance of information about everything from organic cafe's and eco-lodges to nature tourism and Maori cultural experiences.

But Organic Explorer’s efforts have gone further than just informing travellers about the variety of eco-friendly experiences available in New Zealand. It has also helped raise international awareness of New Zealand as a visitor destination.

Eco-tourism experiences feature on many international visitors’ holiday plans and that will only increase Organic Explorer’s relevance to visitors and local eco-tourism businesses.

Full Description

Get away from it all and be at one with nature. As you approach Caniwi Lodge, a 20 minute drive from Eltham,  you will be captivated  by the amazing geological changes as you transition from easy rolling dairy farm land to  eastern Taranaki hill country.  Sculptured hills and valleys and sheep covered hillsides and extensive areas of protected native bush will beckon you. Caniwi Lodge is an unexpected oasis  in a secluded and sheltered valley and natural medicine for the eyes, ears and soul. Perched on a ridge with stunning views of Lake Rotorangi,  our luxurious 2 bedroom chalets, each with  kitchen, spacious living area and verandahs,  allow you to self cater.  Stroll through the aboretum and down to the lake and kayak in serene isolation and relax  to the lyrical sounds of native birds.
