Full Description

Centrally located in Northland, Tangowahine translates as "Place to take a woman" . Our farm cover over 300 acres and is predominantly Beef and Sheep. Our animals are fed what is grown on the farm (grass), A large amount of the property is covered in native forest and we also back onto the Maungaru range which is a wilderness reserve that contains many hidden treasures. Your accommodation is a choice of a Studio unit with en-suite or a luxury cottage equipped everything you should need. Handy to the Bay of Islands or close by the Waipoua forest see our website for further details. When you contact Tangowahine Farmstay do tell them "Leonie from Organic Explorer recommended you," this will ensure you receive a few bonuses during your stay.

Take SH1 from Auckland Turn Left after Kaiwaka onto SH12 On reaching Dargaville Turn Right onto SH14 and drive for 10k Turn Left into the Tangowahine Valley road (signposted also to Kaikohe and Pakotai) Drive a further 10k and look for us on your right we are well signposted.
