EMAIL Anatoki River Organic B&B

Welcome to Fiona and David's organic farm which has the beautiful Anatoki river on it's boundary, with secluded swimming hole, trout fishing and glow worms. Quiet location on a private road, just 6 kms from Takaka, we have  mountain views, abundant bird life, native bush, and a pretty creek behind the house which also has glow worms.
David, a fully qualified massage and neuromuscular tharapist for the last 12 years, has an on-site massage clinic, and ran a successful clinic in Auckland before moving to Golden Bay. He offers a complimentary massage if you stay for two nights.
Our home-grown organic fruit and vegetables, eggs and dairy products are available to guests. We can cater for gluten and dairy free diets. We are happy for guests to use our kitchen to prepare their lunches and evening meals and store food in the fridge.
Guest accommodation in our spacious character home consists of two rooms, one with a queen bed, the other has a double bed and single bed, in your own upstairs wing with private bathroom. Only one party of guests accommodated at a time thus ensuring privacy. Downstairs is your own living room with woodfire and expansive deck around the house with chairs and table. There is cell phone coverage, broadband, but no T.V. We can interact with you or leave you in peace - you choose. Our B&B is informal and friendly. We welcome families with children, and our animals enjoy being fed and petted - we have goats, ponies, sheep, hens and a dog.
We have a strong commitment to an eco-friendly, chemical free and self- sufficient  lifestyle.
Guests can hand-milk the goats and learn how to make cheese.
Free use of bikes, easy cycle to town.
Fish in the river or nearby Anatoki salmon farm.
We are near Abel Tasman National Park and Kahurangi National Park with the popular Heaphy track.
Also nearby is Waikoropupu springs, Rawhiti cave, Payne's Ford rock climbing, Rameka mountain bike track, beaches, kayaking, cafes and other local attractions.
We are passionate about walking, tramping, cycling, and running and can offer advice on popular local routes.
To make a booking, please phone or e-mail.
We look forward to meeting you!

Five Stars isn't high enough for this place. The hosts David and Fiona are wonderful people to hang out with, the rooms are comfortable, the setting is spectacular and the goats are a blast.

Takaka, and the Golden Bay in general, is a lovely place filled with lots of eccentric artsy type people. I'm already planning my next trip.
