Located just a stroll from Waitaria Bay foreshore in Kenepuru Sound is nowanden. Self-sufficiency includes: ‘home-grown’ electricity, meat, vegetables, fruit, free-range eggs.

Add seafoods to the menu and life doesn’t get much better at the straw-baled homestead with panoramic views of sea and rural countryside.

The property of 50 hectares includes 5ha of pasture, regenerating native bush with giant Rimu, Beech and Miro. Guest accommodation is set for privacy in the nearby ‘Mussel Inn’ cottage.

A nine hole golf course is handy.

Corrugated iron Self-contained guest cottage is based on a miner’s cottage design. 1 twin room, 1 with a single bed and a set of bunks. Lounge room with open fire.
