Jes and Eileen Roddy look forward to welcoming you to their guesthouse, a fully restored building on the site of one of the earliest farms in the Esk Valley.
Peace and privacy are a key feature yet we are only 15 minutes from the restaurants of Ahuriri - the old fishing port of Napier. The location in Esk Valley is an ideal base from which to explore and enjoy the many wonders of Northern Hawkes Bay, including the local vineyards, Art Deco Napier and the wild rivers tranquil lakes and surf beaches which are great for walks and for fishing both surf and fly.
We provide a high quality service and offer you a comfortable, relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable stay. We are Qualmark 4 star plus rated which guarantees quality service and satisfaction.
Our rooms are tastefully decorated , each with high quality bed linen and furnishings. Along with the usual compliments tray, which includes herbal teas, and filtered water, each room, has heat pumps for environmentally friendly heating and cooling.
We also offer free wireless broadband internet access in all rooms and free use of the computer in the guest lounge.
Full a la carte breakfast featuring home-grown or local ingredients is included. Evening platters available and other meals by arrangement.

The Sauvignon suite includes:
King-size bedroom with private balcony overlooking the garden and vineyards, private lounge, Private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.
The Riesling room has en-suite and twin beds, tea and coffee making facilities and fridge.
The Semillon room is a ground floor room opening onto a covered porch and gardens. It has a king bed separate toilet and bathroom.
All rooms have air conditioning and quality linen and fittings.
