Full DescriptionFrom our base at The Wharf Hub, OPOTIKI, NZ which is conveniently located alongside the historic Opotiki wharf, we offer marine tours and workshops. Ever popular is eco fishing. You can catch enough fish for your dinner at our Recreational Enhanced Area for Fishing (REAF) or go a bit further out at 10km to visit leading mussel aquaculture and try your hand at catching the powerful 'KingFish'. Equally popular is our 10km kayak run down the Waioeka River (ranked one of the top 10 rivers in Bay of Plenty). You can even paddle the estuary and out to the sea. Its an easy grade 1-2 river ideal for beginners. Allow 3 hours.
