With a range of contemporary comforts including wall mounted LCD, heated floor bathroom, walk-in tiled shower, FREE wireless internet and extremely comfy beds. As part of the philosophy or ‘kaupapa’ of Maruata, the environment is focused on the sharing of the Maori culture, and so is an oasis of traditional and contemporary art, produced by a number of talented local artists. Stay on this road and you will pass Rainbow Springs, Skyline Skyrides and McDonalds. Head STRAIGHT past these towards the main intersection and you will need to get into the LEFT lane. Turn LEFT at the lights into Lake Rd and head down past another number of car dealerships, you will go over a old railway bridge and then you will see a Gull Petrol Station on your right. Continue along and prepare to turn RIGHT in about 150m after you cross the small Utuhina bridge (you will see some shops and a motel called Bella Vista on your right). Turn RIGHT here onto Tarewa Rd and then take the first RIGHT into Kuirau St. Maruata is then the first driveway on your left – you will see a short driveway accompanied by a brown trellis fence.
