Wairata Station is a natures paradise, wander up numerous tracks & enjoy the alpine flora and fauna & the chorus from numerous native birds.The Waioeka River on our doorstep is one of New Zealands best uncrowded wild fisheries with good stocks of hard fighting rainbow & brown trout.The river provides many other activities like kayaking, white water tubing,eeling and swimming in the cystal clear water.We also have glow worms .
