Full Description

We are located in the heart of Auckland, and recommend to guests they "walk the city" around all of the main attractions (such as the Auckland Museum, Sky Tower, Vector Arena. ASB Tennis Stadium, shops, cafes and restaurants) or use the public transport Link bus system. We have four rooms catering to a maximum of eight people, and enjoy sharing our knowledge of Auckland with our guests, helping them to make the most of their time in New Zealand. We enjoy serving afternoon tea in our front parlour and sharing a glass of wine in the evening. Our house is shared with two toy poodles and a small cat (who wears a neck bell to warn birds of her presence). Pets welcome , contact us for more details.

We use renewable natural furnishings
We instruct staff in green practices

Other Environment Friendly Initiatives

Being in the heart of inner city Auckland means that wildlife conservation in our own area is a little problematic, as there are few native trees to provide sustenance for our native birds. However we encourage native flora and have our own self-seeded Karaka trees growing, pretty amazing in the heart of the CBD. Given that local conservation is difficult, we also support many national organisations that seek to conserve native flora and fauna.
