We warmly welcome you to our Akaroa Coastal Retreat, a wonderfully relaxing place to stay with stunning views of Akaroa Harbour. Perched above native bush, it is tranquil and private. Enjoy native bird song, stunning sunsets, the sound of the sea and the peace and quiet of this seaside property. Our coastal retreat sits harmoniously in its environment, on 3 hectares of coastal land, close to Akaroa township.
We have two accommodation options:
Bed and breakfast in our modern home. The Akaroa Coastal Studio is a private room with a queen bed, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Attached to our home it has it's own separate entrance which allows gusets to choose their own level of privacy or interaction.Tea/coffee facilities, fridge, internet and SkyTV are provided in the room with delicious continental breakfasts. If breakfast isn't required we discount the tariff $10 per person/night. Organic homemade produce is used where possible.
The Akaroa Coastal Cottage is completely separate and fully self-contained, sleeps 6 and is suitable for children. See our website for photos of the cottage and tariff.
We have abundant bird life, native bush, an organic vegetable garden and fruit and firewood trees. No smoking or pets.
