Arborvale Eco Retreat is an enchanting rammed earth property offering 2 guest rooms in the West Wing with a well appointed private bathroom.

It is the perfect haven to relax, unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet in a park-like setting on 2.5 acres. This North-facing house enjoys all day sun and overlooks Lake Rotokauri and surrounding hills. During summer breakfast can be served alfresco.

We are only a few minutes drive to Hamilton and 1 hour from Auckland. Nick and Michelle have travelled extensively and offer a very warm and friendly welcome to all their guests. Nick is a qualified masseuse and is available for bookings.

Private parking is available on the property. PLEASE NOTE: Special packages available for the Hamilton 400 V8 Event (18 - 21 April 2008).

Delightful rammed earth and unique timber property, passive solar design, North facing for all day sun. Solar hot water heating, wool insulation and underfloor heating. Native bush setting including an organic orchard, vegetable and herb garden (not certified). We offer fresh seasonal produce for our guests.

There are 2 guest rooms on the ground floor on the West Wing with a well appointed private bathroom. Total capacity is 3 people.

Breakfast

A Continental Breakfast is included in the tariff. A full range of cereals, toast, fruit juice and cooked options. We serve homegrown seasonal fruit and produce when possible.

Directions

FROM AUCKLAND TO HAMILTON

• Follow SH1 until you reach the outskirts of Hamilton and you arrive at the first roundabout (with Harvey Norman and Placemakers to your right).
• Turn right at roundabout into Te Kowhai Road, follow this road for approximately 4kms until you see the sign for Duck Road and turn left.
  
• Follow this for approximately 3 kms and we are on the left, take the centre driveway down to the property.

FROM HAMILTON CENTRE TO ROTOKAURI

• Follow SH1 (Avalon Drive) turn left into Rotokauri Road (also signposted for the Zoo) after approximately 400m turn right staying on Rotokauri Road.
  
• After approximatley 4 kms on top of the rise turn right into Duck Road and approximately 500m turn right, and we are the centre driveway.
