Waihoihoi Lodge is set amongst organic gardens overlooking a fabulous view.

Affordable luxury for women, or for groups of people wanting a break away or a great place to stop on your holiday journey. We also welcome 'wwoofers' (women only).

Waipu is a great village and community to be a part of, with a unique settlement story. The beaches nearby stretch on forever, provide safe swimming and are mostly deserted.

The lodge was built with 'sustainability' as a key feature - passive solar design, solar hotwater, rain water storage, sand filter sewerage system, eco friendly cleaners etc.

It is set amongst 2 acres of organic edible gardens - vegetable gardens, subtropical orchard, conventional orchard, free range chickens, and amongst native trees.

We are 10 minutes from Waipu village by car, 30 minutes by bicycle.

The bus stops in Waipu where we can pick people up.

 Waipu is just off State Highway 1, half way between Auckland and the Bay of Islands.
