Tangowahine Farm and Rural Retreat

Centrally located in Northland, Tangowahine translates as "Place to take a woman" .

Our farm cover over 300 acres and is predominantly Beef and Sheep. Our animals are fed what is grown on the farm (grass), A large amount of the property is covered in native forest and we also back onto the Maungaru range which is a wilderness reserve that contains many hidden treasures.

Take SH1 from Auckland Turn Left after Kaiwaka onto SH12 On reaching Dargaville Turn Right onto SH14 and drive for 10k Turn Left into the Tangowahine Valley road (signposted also to Kaikohe and Pakotai) Drive a further 10k and look for us on your right we are well signposted.
