Dell Cote Homestay is a charming earth brick and macrocarpa home offering 3 unique guest rooms. Rooms have private access and a guest lounge has fridge, TV and complimentary tea/coffee and home baking.

Set in the peaceful setting of native bush, organic orchard and garden, and just a short walk to the village of Tairua with restaurants, shops, internet facilities. Trish and Barry have travelled widely and can arrange fishing trips, golf and bush walking.

Dell Cote offers friendly and generous kiwi hospitality. Off street parking and quiet tranquil location.

Environmentally Friendly Aspects of the Accommodation

Charming earth brick and untreated macrocarpa timber. Marshal wood fired hot water supply and gas. Organic (not certified) orchard and vegetable garden. We offer in season produce to our guests for breakfast.

Warm atmosphere from building materials, low pressure showers for conservation of rain water.

Low pressure shower roses for water conservation.
We use biodegradable washing liquids and detergents.
Wood fired water system for Devon room and laundry.

Facilities

There are 3 guest rooms, 2 on the ground floor and one is a loft room. There are 3 Queen-sized beds and 1 King-single bed.
Two rooms have en-suites and 1 room has a private bathroom, (IE exclusive use for the people in that room)

We have wheelchair access

Total guest capacity is 7 people, depending on the configuration of the party.

Meals

Breakfast is included in the tariff. A full range of cereals, with home made muesli etc, grain toasts, fruit juices and cooked options.

We serve home grown seasonal fruit and produce.

Restrictions

We are not suitable for children. No smoking is allowed inside, but OK out on the deck. Ashtrays are provided.

Directions

Travel 25a from Kopu turn-off over the Hikuai hill and as you approach Tairua from the South Rewarewa Valley is the first turn to the left off the main road, just after the 50km sign to reduce speed. Dell Cote is approximately 250mtrs along the road to the left. Bold Dell Cote signage at the start of the property.
