In a 100-year-old villa sitting on immaculate grounds bordered by first growth bush, it awaits visitors.  A choice of four different bedrooms ensuite including the "King Suite" with a king sized bed and a single bed in the smaller alcove off the main bedroom with a lovely open bathroom off this suite, cozy common area and a tasteful living room with contemporary art by well known Chinese and US artists, a grand piano, plenty of books and this lovely room looks out over an acre or two of lawn and bush. Wireless internet connection is available in the grand Lodge kitchen. With delicious New Zealand organic breakfast makes the stay authentic and relaxing. The grounds have been shaped to handle small to medium sized outdoor weddings or other open-air events. The 100 square meters glasshouse ensures that weather will not spoil any event. Adjoining the green lawn of Pine Valley B&B, are sections of native bush. We have carefully fashioned a one kilometer path that winds its way along a creek.  We continue to add resting spots to be used for reading, drawing, or contemplation. Our guests can examine the 53 varieties of native and original plant life identified in our bush. Bikes can be borrowed for a ride to Orewa beach. Beaches and Golf courses abound as do countless drives to places like the Matakana organic farmer's market on Saturday morning. Downtown Auckland is about 20 minute drive and the must visits are to the National Maritime Museum and the Auckland War Memorial Museum which are housing one of the world's finest displays of Maori and Polynesian culture as well as the hall of New Zealand birds. Minimum stay of 2 nights required which includes a full organic cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and tea and coffee with toast.
