Description

Heartsong Retreat is on beautiful Waiheke Island,a short 35minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland.Set on the waterfront with establised native trees, it offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation and also has a self contained cottage.

Guests have direct access to the beach and the use of a private boatshed,complete with kayaks and a dinghy. A large heated spa pool,nestled in the bush is the ideal place for relaxing and unwinding.

Massage and other beauty treatments are available onsite.There are numerous bush walks in the surrounding area.At certain times of the year,the whole property is available for rental.

Environment Friendly Features

We use eco-friendly laundry and cleaning products. Natural spy eco-friendly candles and organic toiletries are supplied. Rooms are supplied with natural toiletries.

Guests can pick fresh vegetables,herbs and salad greens from our organic vegetable garden. We recycle and compost. We rely on rainwater and it is filtered for safe drinking and is free of chemicals, chlorine and fluoride.

The cottage is brand new, but we have used recycled native kauri for the floors,recycled windows and light fittings.

Directions

From Matiatia ferry terminal,take the bus or taxi to Rocky Bay and it is few minutes walk to the property from the bus stop. From Kennedy Point car ferry,drive towards Onetangi Beach and turn right at the quarry,follow road to Rocky Bay and it is the first road on the right past the Omiha Hall.
